OUR HISTORY
Calvary was organized as a mission church in 1922. Calvary became a charter member of the Presbyterian Church in America in 1973 in order to remain faithful to the Gospel and her Biblical foundation. Since 1988 Calvary has planted three daughter churches and continues to place emphasis on church planting in this Tidewater region.
Calvary is a small family-oriented church that places emphasis on the preaching of God’s Word and living by grace. We have a mature membership that seeks to encourage and mentor those who come to Calvary seeking a church home.
Calvary has recently completed a two million dollar renovation that includes a new play ground open to our community. |
